Hello,
I'm egan

Designer, student, artist, human.

I am passionate about the big picture, crafting seamless experiences that bridge the gap between design and everyday life. I am a 4th-year Industrial Design student at Iowa State University with hands-on internship experience in UX Design at Northwestern Mutual and in e-Commerce and Marketing at J. J. Keller & Associates. My diverse academic background—spanning design, engineering, and social sciences—coupled with real-world experience in fast-paced, agile environments, has equipped me to approach every project with a highly collaborative, systems-thinking mindset.

Outside of my professional work, I never stop designing; I love to do printmaking, sketching, and painting whenever possible. I am also an avid cyclist, climber, and hiker. The interconnectedness of natural systems constantly inspires my work and fuels my creative process.

As I continue to grow in my design journey, I’m excited to collaborate, learn, and tackle new challenges. Let’s connect and explore how we can create innovative, impactful solutions together!

I believe that great design is born from research, strategy, and collaborative environments.

My approach

Deep Dive Research

I begin by stepping into the shoes of the stakeholders. Through in-depth research, I discover the hidden needs and challenges unique to each project.

Strategic Design

I don't just make pretty pictures. I align my work with product, engineering, and business goals to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.

Co-Design Facilitation

I believe in the power of co-design. Designers should act as facilitators in this process, allowing industry experts to have a say in design decisions.

Collaborative Iteration

Collaboration in the design process is vital. I see communication as the most important part of my work, from visual communication to sending emails.
